Project background

This project involved the design, installation, and commissioning of a sophisticated 2.2 MWp Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system at Chubby Chick’s poultry processing facility, aimed at ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power for the facility’s critical operations. The comprehensive energy solution features a 2.75 MW grid charging capacity, 1.6 MWp of AC-coupled solar integration, and 500 kWp of DC-DC converters, collectively capable of delivering up to 2.75 MW of continuous load supply. To further safeguard against power disruptions, the system is supported by a 2.8 MVA backup generator, providing an additional layer of redundancy. This robust and multi-layered energy infrastructure ensures that the facility’s sensitive poultry processing operations remain protected against grid instability and outages, maintaining productivity and operational continuity at all times.
