Engen Filling Station
The owners commissioned the installation of two systems, the first a 31,6kWp grid-tied solar PV system. They use 80 of the latest 395W solar PV modules and 1 SMA STP25 inverter. Currently, this system operates with 0 exports to the council and delivers 27% of the facility’s energy requirements.
Agricultural Training Facility
This project aims to implement a Battery Storage System plant at a well-known Department of Agriculture Head Office to reduce energy consumption from the grid and ensure a reliable energy source during load shedding.
Milling Company
The owner commissioned the installation of two grid-tied solar PV systems for their dog food and soya plants. They used 558 of the latest 450W solar PV modules and 2 Sunny Tripower CORE 2 inverters.
Poultry Processing Factory
This company installed a solar PV system to reduce their almost 2.5MVA of demand and associated energy bill at their main factory. One of the many challenges in this installation was the various injection points and, thus, the distributed nature of the PV system.
Commercial Head Office
After significantly reducing their load through various energy efficiency initiatives, Senwes installed a solar PV system to further reduce their energy cost and carbon footprint.
Corporate Office Park
The corporate body of this office park decided to install a solar PV system to reduce their energy cost and carbon footprint further. This system uses 753 Trina modules connected to 30 SMA STP 25 inverters to provide up to 100% of their power during the peak sun hours.
Grain Silo
The agricultural group installed a solar PV system to reduce its carbon footprint. The system comprises 14 x SMA 25000-TL-30 inverters and 1120 x 320W Jinko modules, which account for 47% of the total energy requirements.
Shopping Centre
Sustainability was essential when construction began on this new shopping centre project. The development group installed a solar PV system to reduce its carbon footprint.
Telesure PME
Telesure had no means of measuring the energy consumption of various units within the more prominent office building. This was achieved by installing Schneider energy meters throughout the facility and linking them to a central database.
Sol Plaatje University C010
The scope of works covers Design, manufacture, factory testing, supply, delivery to site, unloading, handling and storage at site, complete installation, performance testing and commissioning of all related electrical equipment, all required accessories supplied under these specifications on a turnkey basis.
Municipal Energy Plan
In collaboration with the town of Växja, Sweden, a detailed energy study was conducted for JB Marks City Council. We are looking at the proposal of renewables for electricity supply and a general overview of all energy types.
Human Settlements
The Neighbourhood Development Partnership Grand (NDPG) program necessitates the electrification project of various extensions for approximately 10,000 stands.
Commercial Office Lighting
This complex underwent a complete conversion of all luminaires from conventional to LED lighting technology, complete with an integrated lighting management system incorporating DALI communication topology energy control units, switches and sensors.
Shopping Centre
The development group of this new shopping centre attracted Shoprite-Checkers (2139m²) and Dis-chem(1059m²) as the main commercial entities, with a further 516m² allocated to various line shop tenants, basement parking 2959m² and open parking 6377m².
Remote Metering
This company required accurate and reliable information regarding the electricity consumption in their Grainlink division. They also received more erratic bulk invoices from the suppliers, making budgeting and forecasting difficult.
NWU Substation
The North West University is establishing a New Student Housing Complex in their Mahikeng Campus, North West. The Bulk Supply Project was needed to provide regular and standby electrical supply to this project.
NWU Student Housing
The Student Housing Project will accommodate 1728 Beds. 6 Clusters of 288 Beds will be built. Each Cluster will consist of 6 x 3 Floors buildings and a Recreation Hall, Gate and Warden House.
