Service: Solar PV
Project background
This project involved the expansion of an existing off-grid energy system at a client’s Game Lodge, driven by the facility’s continuous growth and increasing power demands. To meet the rising energy requirements, an additional 800 kWh of Freedom Won battery storage was integrated into the existing infrastructure, bringing the site’s total Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity to 2.8 MWh. A fourth ATESS HPS120 hybrid inverter was also added to handle the increased electrical load. Furthermore, the existing grid-tied solar PV array was expanded to reduce the burden on the hybrid inverters, improving overall system efficiency and ensuring a reliable, sustainable power supply for the lodge’s operations.
