Project background
This company required accurate and reliable information regarding the electricity consumption in their Grainlink division. They also received more erratic bulk invoices from the suppliers, making budgeting and forecasting difficult. A remote check meter solution was proposed and implemented across their silo portfolio; 81 Sites are being monitored over four provinces. Data received via a website or smartphone application is now used by finance for bulk invoice verification. The technical departments also use the data to keep track of consumption and make informed decisions about energy management and site expansions and alterations, e.g., grain aeration.
